Friends of Smith Mountain Lake State Park, Inc. is a volunteer 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to promoting the use, enjoyment and appreciation of Smith Mountain Lake State Park.
All proceeds from this event go to benefit programs at the Park and foster environmental stewardship and education.
The event will be a 5 K run/walk or a 10K run for participants of all ages and activity levels. The race highlights the wonderful attributes of the area as participants make their way along the beautiful roadways in the Park.
